Registration
Dates
1.
Spring
Registration (for
upcoming school
year).
This is
usually done the 2nd
to 3rd
week in April.

Summer
Registration (for
upcoming school
year).
This is
usually done the 2nd
to 3rd
week before school
starts.
3.
Second
Semester.
This usually
takes place at least
3 weeks before the
second semester
starts.
Tuition
Payment Must be Made
at Time of
Registration
Al-Furqan
School tuition must
be made at time of
registration.
There are no
exceptions.
If a parent
cannot make payment
at the time of
registration they
can come back the
next week and
register.
There
Will be No Space
Reservation
Al-Furqan
will not keep a
space available for
the student if the
parent has not paid.
Refund
Policy
Al-Furqan
will refund the
amount of tuition up
to 4 weeks after the
beginning of school
session.
Request for
reimbursement must
be made in writing
before the 4 week
period has expired.
Tuition
Refund will be based
on the amount of
payment minus the
cost of the
textbooks.
Textbooks
cannot be returned
for payment and are
the property of
student upon
distribution.
Tuition
Waiver
Al-Furqan
School will waive
tuition for those
families in need.
Those
families requesting
tuition waiver
should meet with a
Committee
representative at
the time of
registration.
Class
Assignment
Students
are assigned to the
grade they are
enrolled in at
public school.
There are no
exceptions.
Age
Requirement
Al-Furqan
school is aligned
with Wake County
Public School
requirements.
Students must
be 4 by October 16th
to meet the age
requirement for
Pre-K.
Students must
be 5 by October 16th
to meet the age
requirement for
Kindergarten.
There are no
exceptions.
Space
Availability
Registration
is on a first come
first serve basis.
If there is
room in a class, the
student will be
enrolled.
If a class
has been capped
there will be no
further student
enrollment for that
class.
There are no
exceptions. The
registration process
continues throughout
the school year as
long as there is a
seat available for
the required class.
Parent
Volunteer
Requirement
All
Al-Furqan Parents
are required to
perform 6 hours of
volunteer service
per semester.
