Most of us are already familiar with school routines and procedures. We would like to share this information for people who are new to this school.
School Timing: Al-Furqan School starts at 9.50am and ends at 1.20pm. Please plan to arrive by 9.45am on first day. As part of our curriculum we recommend all students to stay for Duhar prayer, Iqama time is 1.35pm. School Dismissal time is 1.20pm, please plan to arrive before dismissal time. Our students of Grades KG-1st Grade remain in their classrooms until parents come to pick them up. All other students proceed to Musallah upon dismissal. Parents are responsible for their children right after 1.20pm.
Carpool/ Student drop off instructions: Please follow the directions given by our security personnel while driving through the campus. Traffic in the school campus is one way only. Traffic should enter from Gate 1 on Atwater Street and exit from Gate 3 which is at the far end on Ligon Street. Please do not use Gate 2(middle gate) for entry or exit. Please do not move the cones to park or enter into reserved areas. Loading unloading is not permissible in the handicapped and reserved parking spaces as it leads to traffic jam by Gate 1. Please do not interrupt the traffic flow, once you have dropped off your children keep moving but do not attempt to cut ahead of the vehicle in front of you. Please wait until the vehicle ahead of you begins to move. Speed limit is 15mph inside the campus during school hours. Please be cautious as children and parents are walking through the parking lots. Registration: We will start registering new students on 15th September only in grades that have open spots available. There will be no new student registration on the first day of school.
